List of ingredients for Orange and Manuka Honey Madeleines

To make 12 Orange and Manuka Honey Madeleines, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of Manuka Honey
  • 85 ml of virgin coconut oil
  • 40 g wheat flour
  • 30g of rice flour
  • 2 drops of sweet orange essential oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder

1 - Start by melting all of the coconut oil in a saucepan over low heat.

2 - Keep 10ml of coconut oil to coat the madeleine mold, and put the mold in the refrigerator.

3 - Next, whisk the eggs with the Manuka Honey and sweet orange essential oil in a container.

4 - Add the yeast, wheat flour and rice flour in order and mix actively.

5 - Add the remaining melted coconut oil and mix.

6 - Divide the mixture among the indentations of the madeleine mold.

7 - Let it sit in the fridge for 2 hours and preheat the oven to 240°C once the 2 hours are up.

8 - Then put the madeleines in the oven halfway up, turn down to 210°C and let them cook for at least 15 minutes.

9 - Let cool, unmold and enjoy them within the day.
